Make Changes that Stick with the Taurus Full Moon
FULL MOON COLLECTION 25% OFF THROUGH 11/17
This full moon on 11/15, we're exploring the difference between discipline and devotion. The Hierophant, the tarot card associated with Taurus, embodies self-control, structure, and consistency—qualities closely linked to discipline. Yet, Taurus is also ruled by Venus, represented by the Empress, which brings in the energy of love, reverence, and a deep emotional connection to something greater than ourselves, essential to true devotion.
While discipline can feel like a duty, devotion is more about desire. It’s the willingness to commit because it brings fulfillment or connects us to a sense of purpose. Devotion transforms routine actions into sacred rituals, turning consistency into a spiritual practice.
This full moon invites us to connect with our deepest sense of self-devotion, allowing us to create practices that nourish our inner truth rather than focusing on external expectations or achievements. The ritual and tarot spread provided aims to support this very inquiry.

Consider what Devotion Means to You
As we focus on devotion during this full moon, take time in your bath to reflect on what devotion truly means to you and how you’d like to bring it into your life. Consider approaching daily activities with a sense of devotion. Try to distill your reflections into a few guiding words—like maturity, delayed gratification, or rest—that capture the essence of devotion for you.
Carve the Words Into the Top of the Candle
Carve your chosen words of significance into the top of the candle, then hold it between your hands at your heart center. Take a moment to feel what it’s like in your body to embody devotion and approach life as an act of devotion to yourself. When you’re ready, light the candle mindfully as a symbol of this new beginning in devotional living.
Meditate in the Flame
Gaze into the flame, keeping the candle’s sigil (symbol) within view. Begin repeating aloud, “I am healthy, I am happy, I am whole,” allowing yourself to enter a meditative state. As you speak, immerse yourself in the feeling of these affirmations being true, letting the energy of each word resonate within you.
Repeat
When you feel complete, you may either allow the candle to burn until it naturally extinguishes or gently snuff the flame (rather than blowing it out). You can then relight it each day, repeating a brief version of the meditation and mantra, until the candle has fully burned down.
